Time to take the reigns Juan…
It is almost a forgone conclusion that Reggie Bush will not be back in Miami in 2013. The biggest reason could be the excitement of the team over soon to be second year RB, Lamar Miller. Miller fell in the draft and the Dolphins were happy to scoop up the electric runner based on his game breaking ability.
The Dolphins organization sounds like they are sold on Miller becoming ‘the guy’ in the zone blocking scheme of South Beach.
Jeff Ireland: “Lamar really showed some great signs of really some explosive-play opportunity,” Ireland said. “He kind of shoots out of the cannon when he hits the hole. He’s got very good hands. I thought he did a very good job in his pass protection, which keeps him on the field all three downs.”
Fantasy owners like me love guys with high upside and we like to swing for the fences in fantasy drafts. When potential meets opportunity, fantasy stats are the outcome. Miller is already on many savvy fantasy owner’s radar, so it’s not like he will be a big secret come draft day. But, if you are in a dynasty or keeper league, pounce now before Bush is gone and the hype train runs out of control.

The reward for good work is more work and Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill will find out nice rookie seasons don’t hold much water in the NFL. While Tannehill can sit back and look as a success, 2013 will be when everyone has the red marker out.

Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland has some tough decisions to make this offseason in regard to his free agent list. At least he got one no-brainer out of the way early. With one year still left on his contract, Ireland re-signed Pro Bowl linebacker Cameron Wake to an extension last May to the tune of nearly $50 million over four years. That paid off handsomely for Ireland...
New York Jets running back Shonn Green is set to hit free

Cimini doesn’t view Green as a fit in new offensive

“moderate to heavy” interest on the open market considering the mediocre free
