Michael Vick is going to do a program with the Humane Society of the United States? Come on!! I get it, he wants to show remorse, but this goes so far past retarded it's not even remotely funny. And if he's successful what's his next move? He's going to throw the "Pig-skin" around. I don't know about you, but I honestly feel that if you asked a pig they would be anti-throwing the pig-skin around. And what is the Humane Society thinking? “ [Vick] clearly expressed remorse and contrition, but that's not what convinced me to think about plugging him into these programs ... If he's sincere about it and in it for the long haul, then he can be an agent for change. He needs to prove himself to us and the rest of the country. ” Just shut the frig up you idiot! If you can't see the forrest for the dead dogs hanging from the tree's then just please, please leave the rest of us sane people alone. I swear, if I have to watch a PSA with Mr. Vick telling us the down side of electrocuting pups I might actually blow a gasket. Also, enough with people telling me that Mr. Vick is going to be working a $10 an hour construction job. Shut it!! He's simply waiting for his suspension to be up so he can sign a multi-million dollar contract. And just to remind you, I'm all for it. Yes he did a hideous thing, but if I'm not mistaken he did go to prison. So when he is a free man he should absolutely be allowed to pursue whatever the hell he wants to. Hey Goddell, get off your high horse and reinstate him. Giving him additional suspensions is overkill. The man went to the big house, that should cover it. I just don't want to see him surrounded by puppy dogs and children telling us that we should be nice to animals. I think we already know that.
