Since John Harbaugh took over as Head Coach, the Baltimore Ravens road to the Super Bowl always had one familiar and constant road block known as the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2008, the Ravens were one win away from the Super Bowl and Steelers dashed the hopes of the first Rookie Head Coach and quarterback reaching the Super Bowl in their first season. In fact, in 2008 the Ravens were swept all three times including the AFC Championship and the regular season series by the Steelers that year. In 2010, the Ravens and Steelers split the regular season series but once again the Steelers came out the winner in the post season as they beat the Ravens in the divisional round en route to another Super Bowl appearance. The inability to beat the Steelers in the regular season is the reason why the Ravens haven’t won the AFC North or hosted a playoff game, but most importantly not being able to beat them in the playoffs is why they haven’t won a Super Bowl under John Harbaugh.
