While everyone is making clever lists to try to intertwine the Academy Awards and athletics, Sean Fine made it quite simple. Last night’s Oscar winner for best documentary short. While everyone else was busy wearing “someone,” he was rocking the socks of the night. Fine is a huge Washingotn Redskins fan, and decided to pay tribute to their star quarterback Robert Griffin III, by wearing his Adidas socks. Lol.” For a little context, Dan Steinberg pointed out that Fine’s grandfather was the lead photographer for the Redskins: He began working for the Washington Times-Herald and the Redskins as a photographer in 1937. He eventually dropped the newspaper job to become a football cameraman who pioneered the tradition of using film footage for training in the locker room. Former head coach George Allen called him the “Cecil B.
