This might not be news to many, but Osi Umenyiora is unhappy with the Giants. Again. Osi has been upset with the organization for seemingly forever, over being a situational player behind Justin Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul, as well as not being given a long term contract extension. There have been some trade rumblings in the past, but for the most part, Osi has just sucked it and up and played anyway and was a big part of the Giants’ 2nd Super Bowl title in 5 seasons last season. Heading into the final year of a 7 year deal, Osi is still upset. To show this, he is skipping all of the Giants voluntary OTAs. There has been some talk this offseason of the Giants moving him, but most of that talk has died down since the draft. More likely than not, Osi will complain all offseason again and then return to the Giants to play his situational role and make 3.925 million in the final year of a 7 year, 41 million dollar deal. After the offseason, however, he’s free to go wherever he wants and ...

Sheen bought LT's Super Bowl ring?

According to Jay Glazer, the one and only Charlie Sheen reportedly was the winning bidder in the auction of Lawrence Taylor's Super Bowl XXV championship ring.

Report: Giants won’t trade Osi Umenyiora unless they’ll receive max value

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New York Giants won’t trade disgruntled defensive end Osi Umenyiora unless they believe they’ll be able to receive maximum value in return. “Chances are the ‪Giants‬ will never make a move…unless they believe they are getting max value in return,” said Schefter, per Evan Silva. I believe there’s no way the Giants will trade...

Hakeem Nicks out 12 weeks with broken foot

For the next three months, the New York Giants will be without their star receiver. (And, no, I don’t mean Victor Cruz.) According to multiple reports, Hakeem Nicks suffered a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot during OTAs Thursday, and will be sidelined for 12 weeks. The injury, of the non-contact variety, occurred when Nicks was running routes during individual drills...

Foot injury of Giants’ Hakeem Nicks not as bad as previously thought?

When Hakeem Nicks broke a bone in his foot yesterday, he was given an initial recovery of around 3 months, which would, as Tom Coughlin said, put him in a race for their week 1 game, especially since the Giants start 4 days earlier than everyone else, on Thursday Wednesday Night Football. However, a day later, the prognosis doesn’t look as bleak. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter...

Rookie Fantasy Football Preview: David Wilson

Despite having Ahmad Bradshaw, who had a very productive year in 2010, the Giants' rushing offense ranked dead last in the NFL last season. Bradshaw missed a good portion of the season with a foot injury, but even when the starter was healthy and on the field, the running game was very inconsistent. The Giants don’t have a great run blocking offensive line, and they would...

Charlie Sheen says he didn’t buy LT’s ring

Getty Images As much as we’d love to believe that actor Charlie Sheen bought Lawrence Taylor’s Super Bowl ring, it’s not true. Sheen released a statement to address the matter. “As much as I would be honored to own such an important artifact…I had nothing to do with the acquisition,” wrote Sheen. Now it’s time to move on, don’t think we’ll ever know who bought...
