New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora made an appearance on Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN Radio today per ProFootballTalk.com. He mentioned that he doesn’t know what his future holds with the Giants and understands the NFL is a business.
“We’re just going to have to wait and see,” Umenyiora said. “I can see it going either way. I can see where they would keep me, I can see where they would trade me, because it makes sense both ways. So hopefully things will work out in my interest. I know the team is going to do what’s best for them. They’ve always made the right decisions for that organization. Whether that’s keeping me or trading me, I’d love to stay, but at the end of the day I understand it’s a business and hopefully things will work out.”
Umenyiora doesn’t hold any bitterness towards the Giants front office for not paying him the money he’s desired, and he would be happy with whatever the outcome is.

Seriously, from a distance he looks like he may be put together properly, but up close you can see that isn’t the case. I don’t even know what he’s saying.. This sucks. I’m done with Giants Super Bowl fans
'I can see it going either way,' he said
Brandon Jacobs said he "expects" to be back with the Giants for the 2012 season, which is a much stronger word than anything he's said in the past few weeks when he's simply hoped and wanted to return. But the basis for that expectation, he admitted, is merely "a feeling."
Osi Umenyiora understands he may have played his final game with the Giants.
The defensive end did several radio interviews on Monday morning, and talked about his uncertain future with the Giants. Umenyiora has one year and just under $4 million left on his contract.
“I can see things going...
With Kareem McKenzie set to leave via free agency and the Giants offensive line getting older, it makes a lot of sense to rebuild that unit in the off-season to an extent.
