In the continuing saga pertaining to Kurt Warner’s comments about not wanting his children to play football, and the fallout from other NFL players who have roasted Warner for those words, Osi Umenyiora sided with Warner. The star defensive end for the New York Giants shared a little information few NFL players can be so candid about. Umenyiora agreed with Warner’s stance, stating via twitter: @OsiUmenyiora It’s an awesome game and has done a lot for me, but i know when im 45 there is a strong chance i'll be in a wheelchair. The blunt truth coming from a very reliable source. His dark forecast paints a vivid picture of what an NFL player faces long after their NFL career is over. Umenyiora also tweeted: @OsiUmenyiora That "If i can avoid that for my son, i will. But if he wants to play [football] i wont stop him."
