Shutdown Corner:
As an NFL fan who would rather not see players get hurt, helmet-to-helmet
hits bother me. I'm not sure they bother me as much as helmet-to-bare, raw,
exposed head hits, though. Take it away, Seattle Seahawks fullback Owen Schmitt(notes).
This isn't the first time he's done this, either. Part of the Owen Schmitt
legend at West Virginia University was built around a similar incident.
My goodness, man. It's like Owen Schmitt read
this post and said, "Hey, dementia, that sounds fun. Let's see what I
can do to speed that process up."
I know you're an intense guy, Owen, and the mentality required to play
fullback in the NFL is probably something to which most people can't relate.
Still, though. Find another outlet for your insanity, brother. Skulls are
precious. You only get one.
Gracias, With
Leather.
