ProFootballTalk passes along a report that suggests there may have been opposing viewpoints on the decision to sign Pac Man Jones. It makes sense. This same situation took place when the team reacquired Chris Henry.
John Thornton gives his first impression of the Bengals rookies.
Finally, heading into OTAs, here’s the first thing I will be lookinfg for in the 2010 Bengals.
Is Antonio Bryant fully recovered and ready to play?
Most Bengals fans expected a healthy and productive Laveranues Coles last season, but that guy never delivered. Bryant could give the team a huge boost in the passing game – both as a deep threat and a reliable target underneath - but he needs to be healthy first. All indications are that Bryant is facing no further complications, but I’m anxious to see how fast he looks on the field and how well he develops with Carson Palmer. Coles and Palmer never seemed to gel last year. Hopefully, the second time around, the team can get this No. 2 WR thing right.
Stay tuned for more observations in the coming days.
