According to Michael David Smith of Profootballtalk.com, the Packers and safety Morgan Burnett have agreed on a new deal.
Burnett signed a four-year contract extension worth $24.75 million, with $8.25 million guaranteed.
Burnett had been negotiating a new deal with the Packers and was heading into the final year of his rookie contract and would have been eligible for free agency in March 2014, but team was able to keep him in the fold for the foreseeable future
He has been reliable and durable player after suffering an ACL injury in his rookie season.
He has started all 16 games in the past two seasons.
