The Green Bay Packers are still considering putting the franchise tag on receiver Greg Jennings.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, GM Ted Thompson and the Packers brass are still contemplating keeping the long time Packer in the fold for at least one more year.
Injuries and dropping production would be the deciding factor if the Packers will franchise Jennings, and if they feel he can rebound in 2013. Jennings who will turn 30 in September, has been preparing for his exit from Green Bay, but did say it wasn’t a done deal yet.
In 2012, Jennings had 36 receptions for 366 yards and 4 TD's.
He was drafted out of Western Michigan University in the second round, 52nd overall, of the 2006 NFL Draft.
