TEAMS: Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers used a few spurts of dominating football over the hapless Minnesota Vikings Sunday to win their seventh straight game. Going back to last season, the Pack has now won 13 in a row. For those counting, this was the Packers 700th win as a franchise; only Da Bearz have more (725). And for those wondering when the last time was that the Pack started 7-0, it was 1962...also coming off a championship run.Yesterday again showed how dominating the Packers can be when they have their offensive weapons firing on all cylinders. QB Aaron Rodgers was lights-out good, particularly early when he had 12 (?) consecutive completed passes. The first three incompletes registered were two drops and a spike. He threw for three TDs. Rodgers became the first player in NFL history to have seven straight games with a passer rating of 110 or more. Yowza!Let's also not forget the two -- and nearly three -- interceptions by Charles Woodson, the late game running (6 carries for 55 yards)...

Packers: Rodgers Tops Week 7 Passer Ratings While Pass Defense Doesn’t Budge
It’s been near impossible to flaw Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the past seven weeks, and after losing out to Tim Tebow in ESPN’s wacky passer rating statistics a fortnight ago, Week 7 saw Rodgers take the cake once again.
Ranking above Tom Brady, Drew Brees and surprisingly, Eli Manning, Rodgers sits atop the quarterback standings with a passer rating of 125...

Matt Forte Closing Gap In The Race for MVP
Aaron Rodgers is still number one, but Bears running back Matt Forte is making a strong case as league's most valuable player.
An Eagles’ Writer’s Take on the Giants
This is from Bo Wulf over at philadelphiaeagles.com….I guess they ran out ink trying to analyze the Eagles (just kidding). His analysis is fairly accurate, however. Always good to see how your opponents view you…
What went right:
The Giants’ passing attack ranks third in the league with 8.52 yards per pass play. After leading the league in interceptions last season...
The Green Bay Packers have a lot of options at WR
No one has the kind of quality depth at WR that the Packers do. Greg Jennings is Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target in the passing game, but he keeps all of his WRs involved in the offense. Jennings has caught 42 passes for 677 yards (16.1 avg) with 5 TD grabs so far this year. Jordy Nelson is also stepping up big time for the Packers this year. He has caught 24 passes...
Ravens: MNF guys call out Joe
Seemed like everybody on the ESPN pregame show was talking about what Joe Flacco needs to do to become a great quarterback. I'm not saying he's Aaron Rodgers, but what does the guy have to do to get some national respect.
Flacco has taken the Ravens into the playoffs all three of his previous seasons. He took them to the AFC title game as a rookie. He has won four playoff...
Power Rankings for Week 7
Each week after Monday Night game(s) has concluded, I’ll publish my list of NFL power rankings. Here is the pecking order for Week 6.—1) Green Bay Packers - Aaron Rodgers completed 80% of his passes against the Vikings.2) New Orleans Saints - These Saints are not merciful.3) San Francisco 49ers - No Harbaugh fisticuffs this week.4) New England Patriots...
Packers Are NFL's Top Team, But the Bottom Is a Mess
Power rankings. You hate them. They’re so arbitrary and pointless, especially when they include all 32 NFL teams. All you want to know after a good week of NFL action is who the bestest team in the NFL right now, and which one is the absolute barrel-scraping worst. The one so terrible, it may soon be overthrown by its rebellious citizenry. That’s why we have TOP...
