As soon as the New York Jets released DT Howard Green, the Green Bay Packers swooped in and claimed Green on waivers.
The six-year veteran made one tackle in two games for the Jets this season. He had been signed September 15 following the season-ending injury to Kris Jenkins.
Green Bay face the Jets this Sunday.
This is all too common in the NFL these days.
