The Green Bay Packers are sticking with struggling kicker Mason Crosby. Coach Mike McCarthy told reporters after the Packers' 24-20 victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday that the team won't ''blink'' in its commitment to Crosby. Crosby has missed seven of the 18 field goals he's attempted so far this season. His 61 percent accuracy rate is second-to-last in the NFL. He missed a 50-yarder and a 38-yarder against the Lions. He did connect on a 39-yarder with seconds left to give the Packers a four-point cushion. Crosby says he believes he has to correct his mechanics. He says he doesn't think he's dealing with any type of a mental block.

'60 Minutes': Rodgers is sensitive

Aaron Rodgers isn't a fan of how 60 Minutes portrayed him in a profile piece last week, but a producer says that shows how the Packers QB "tends to be overly sensitive."

Exclusive: Pam Oliver corrals Finley

Ahhhs and boos. Those are the two distinct and opposite reactions the home crowd rains down on the same missed opportunity. Popular Green Bay Packers named Jennings, Jordy and James hear the former. The latter may seem reserved solely for embattled tight end Jermichael Finley when he does the same thing . . . drop the rock. Hostile home I first noticed the hostility toward Finley...

Packers block Lions from division title race

It was a win the Packers needed for many reasons, and they got it. Now at 7-3 with a 2-0 record in the division, Green Bay -- with four more games remaining against the NFC North -- controls its own playoff future throughout the rest of the season. It also sends Detroit (4-6) into a nearly impossible situation of making the postseason, therefore turning it into a three-team race...

Cedric Benson Targeting A Return In Week 15?

Packers RB Cedric Benson is aiming to return to the team around December 16, according to Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin. “Cedric had the opportunity to have some testing done (recently) and everything’s positive. His rehab has picked up,” said head coach Mike McCarthy. “We’ll see where we are next week. We don’t have a startup date exactly when he’s going to be ready...

Randall Cobb Leads Packers vs. Lions

Randall Cobb led Green Bay in receiving Sunday with 74 yards on nine catches.Fantasy Spin:He hauled in the game-winning touchdown on a 22-yard strike from Aaron Rodgers with a minute and 55 seconds remaining in the game. It was Cobb's sixth touchdown in his last four games. At this point, we'd consider the second-year receiver a must-start.

Quick SPIN: No Timetable for Cedric Benson Return…

We get questions every week on whether or not owners should be holding onto Benson in hopes of playoff glory. Benson, who claims to be 65% and not in a hurry to return before he is healthy, is eligible to return in Week 14. Benson said he is very confident that he will return before the end of the year.

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions: Week 11 NFL Pick

Green Bay Packers (6-3) at Detroit Lions (4-5) I don’t think it’s possible to talk about the Packers without first talking about how bad their injury situation has gotten. Already missing stud middle linebacker Desmond Bishop and replacement DJ Smith for the season, the Packers have also put starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga and starting rush linebacker Nick Perry on injured...

Benson Probably Couple Weeks Away

Injured running back Cedric Benson is eligible to return to practice next week, but that seems unlikely. Plus, much more from a busy Friday at Lambeau Field.

Packers vs. Lions: Big Game for Both Teams

In the unofficial start to the second half of the NFL season for the Green Bay Packers following the team's bye week, the schedule-makers begin to serve up a heapin' plateful of NFC North Division opponents. Five of the Pack's final seven games are within the division. The NFL has finally decided to create a schedule that keeps things interesting right until the end of...

Fantasy Football Sleepers Week 11: James Starks, Cecil Shorts, Marcel Reece, and Danario Alexander

Week 11 is here, and so are we with another round of sleepers for your Week 11 fantasy football lineups. You still have plenty of time to set your rosters for Sunday. Take a few minutes and see if any of these guys are available. James Starks, Green Bay Packers In the Packers last game, Starks was handed the ball more times than starter Alex Green and is now reportedly the Packers’...

Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Preview: Can the Lions beat the Packers in a shootout?

This Sunday the Lions welcome in the Green Bay Packers to Ford Field as Detroit looks to string some wins together in hopes of making a late season run at the playoffs. However this is certainly a Packers team that has found itself after a 2-3 start to the season. Since then Green Bay has turned in an impressive win in Houston and taken care of business with St. Louis, Jacksonville...

Lions Respect, But Don't Like Rival Packers

The Detroit Lions have watched Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers rise to league stardom on the field -- and off the field, with the endless "Discount Double Check" commercials. Although they have respect for their NFC counterparts, as one Lions defender stated, "there's no love lost between the two of us."
