Fox Sports Wisconsin:
ST. LOUIS (AP) Packers backup defensive end Mike Neal was sidelined in the second quarter with a knee injury and his return was questionable.
Neal, a second-round pick in 2010, was suspended the first four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He had three tackles in his first two games.
Green Bay was already missing star defensive tackle B.J. Raji, who is out with an ankle injury.
Rookie Trumaine Johnson of the St. Louis Rams was flipped on his head just as he was about to haul in an onside kick in the first quarter, but he returned in time to help on kick coverage to start the second half.
The team had said Johnson had a hip injury and his return was questionable. Johnson pedaled a stationary bicycle much of the second quarter.
Jamari Lattimore recovered the onside kick at the St. Louis 49 for the Packers, who had just scored on a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Jordy Nelson. That set up a 47-yard field goal by Mason Crosby for a 10-3 lead late in the first quarter.
Rams backup defensive end Eugene Sims injured his right knee in the second quarter and his return was doubtful. It was unclear how Sims, who entered with one sack and 13 tackles, was hurt.
He walked off the field and left for medical tests.

GREEN BAY, Wis. A matchup with the St. Louis Rams is not an easy win like it had been in recent years. The Rams were one of the NFL's worst teams, winning only 15 games over the past five seasons combined. That is, of course, as many games as the Packers won just last year alone. But with St. Louis handing the team over to new head coach Jeff Fisher, the Rams have the same record...
(Eds: With AP Photos.) The Green Bay Packers are about to find out if their defense truly is deeper than it was last season.
The Packers ranked dead last in the NFL in yards allowed in 2011, prompting general manager Ted Thompson to use his first six draft picks on defensive players and add two more rookie defenders via free agency.
Some of those rookies, along with several holdovers...
The Green Bay Packers have had a very interesting start to their season. The opening day loss to the 49ers at Lambeau wasn't too crazy but fans expected a lot more from reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers and company. The following week it was the Bears offensive line that allowed Clay Matthews to sack the Pack to victory. After that was the "Fail Mary" game where Green...

ST. LOUIS -- Another week, another weapon emerges for the Green Bay Packers. Wide receiver Randall Cobb continued his breakout second season Sunday at Edward Jones Dome. Cobb scored two second-half touchdowns to help Green Bay pull away from scrappy St. Louis, leading to a 30-20 win that helped the Packers complete a stretch of three straight road games with a 2-1 record. Green Bay Packers safety Charles Woodson will miss six weeks with a
The Green Bay Packers defense relies heavily on
Charles Woodson's leadership in slowing down opposing offenses each week. The
Packers will now have to look elsewhere for their guidance, though, at least
for a few weeks.
Woodson left Sunday's win against the Rams with what turns
out to be a broken collarbone, according to Jay Glazer of the NFL Network....
Missing six starters did not slow down the Green Bay Packers en-route to their 30-20 victory at St Louis Sunday. The Rams suffer their first home loss of the year and are 3-4 overall. Green Bay improves to 4-3.While the game was at St. Louis there was clearly a large contingent of Packer fans.
