Found November 18, 2013 on Packer Fans United:
Things are not well in the kingdom, Packer fans. Since starting QB Aaron Rodgers was injured, the Pack has dropped three games in a row with the most recent being yesterday's uninspired performance against the New York Giants. With backup QB Scott Tolzien at the helm, the Packers were within striking distance at just under 11 minutes remaining in the game, with the Giants ahead 20-13. Tolzien tried a very quick pass to tight end Andrew Quarless in the flat left. The problem was that DE Jason Pierre-Paul was there, raised his hands, snagged the ball cleanly and went in untouched for a 24-yard pick-6. The defense had just gotten a big stop before that -- a rare one on the day -- to snatch some momentum from the Giants. This gave it right back, and was obviously too big of a hole for the team to crawl out of.This interception was Tolzien's second of three on the day. Still, he completed 24 of 34 passes for 339 yards. In his first two appearances for the Packers, he has racked up...

Baby Born With Broken Collarbone Is Obviously Now Named ‘Aaron Rodger’

I can’t tell if this is the best or worst idea ever. A baby who was born this past week with a broken collarbone has been named after Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers who is recovering from his own broken collarbone. I guess it is better than being named after Vince Young, right? According to Sporting News: Aaron Rodger Dryer arrived Sunday afternoon at St. Mary’s Hospital...

Who has the edge in the NFC North?

Around this time each season, the contenders begin making their move towards the postseason while the pretenders of the NFL begin to fall by the wayside. The NFC North is a three-horse race, although without Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers aren’t likely...

PackersTalk.com Game Predictions: Packers at Giants

Cory Jennerjohn (@coryjennerjohn) Amazingly, the Giants started 0-6 and are still vying for the NFC East crown. Getting pressure to disrupt Scott Tolzien, who is making his first career start, early will pay dividends...

Pro Football Game of the Week: Denver Broncos Vs. Kansas City Chiefs

This week’s game of the week is the easiest one to identify this season. For the first time in six years, two teams with eight or more wins will meet in an NFL game.
