Offensive tackle Demetrius Bell's free agent tour will continue this week with an expected visit to the Green Bay Packers, Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports. The Packers have used first round picks in back-to-back drafts on offensive tackles Bryan Bulaga and Derek Sherrod, and have Chad Clifton and 2010 fifth round pick Marshall Newhouse. However, Clifton is 35-years-old and was limited to six games during the 2011 regular season and is scheduled to earn nearly $6 million in the final season of his current contract. Sherrod is coming off a broken leg and opened his first NFL training at left guard, a position he could move to if the Packers were to add an experienced tackle like Bell. A seventh round pick out of Northwestern State by the Buffalo Bills in 2008, the 6-foot-5, 311-pound Bell sat his entire rookie season before starting 30 of 31 games over the 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons. Bell missed nine games with shoulder and knee injuries in 2011.
