Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a right (throwing) shoulder injury in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay. Coach Mike McCarthy referred to the injury as a bruise, but Rodgers acknowledged that the shoulder might have been dislocated and was going to be tested to find out the severity of it. If the ligaments were stretched too far, it could be awhile before Rodgers is back. "It's too early to tell," McCarthy said. "I think tomorrow morning (Monday), like a lot of cases, will have a lot to do with it."
Rodgers was able to come back into the game and throw a perfect pass to Greg Jennings, who split two defenders for a 48-yard touchdown. But when he got back to the bench, the medical staff benched him indefinitely.
