Along with Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, wide receiver Jordy Nelson is questionable to play following the team’s bye week. While Matthews and Nelson will return at some point this season, it was reported yesterday that linebacker Nick Perry is likely headed to the team’s injured reserve list following surgery on his wrist. We interrupt this election to bring you breaking @packers news. LB Nick Perry had surgery on wrist today. He's expected to go on IR #Packers — Lance Allan (@lanceallan) November 7, 2012 While the Packers haven’t officially announced a decision regarding Perry’s future, most are saying that he figures to be out for the remainder of the season. The linebacker initially sustained the injury during the team’s regular season opener but continued to play through it. After recovering from a hamstring injury to return to action last weekend, Nelson injured his ankle and left the game before recording a reception. He will have two weeks to recover, but the team is already terming him questionable when they come out of the bye.
