Rob Reischel of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel writes that the Gree Bay Packers could move RT Bryan Bulaga over to the left side if they choose to release Chad Clifton in the coming weeks. The Packers are projected to have very little cap space at this point and with some key free agents like TE Jermichael Finley and C Scott Wells to address, Green Bay will have to consider making some tough roster decisions. There’s been a lot of speculation that Packers will have to cut Clifton ($5.25 million salary and $203,125 roster bonus) and WR Donald Driver ($2.6 million in base salary and $2.4 million in bonuses) to create some cap space. First-round draft pick Derek Sherrod was lost for the season after breaking his leg against the Kansas City Chiefs and Marshall Newhouse was consistently over matched by opposing defensive ends. Bulaga was actually very effective at right tackle so he’ll give them some options to consider.
