PLAYERS: Frank Zombo
TEAMS: Green Bay Packers
According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, the Packers haven’t shown much interested in re-signing linebacker Frank Zombo. After making the team as undrafted free agent in 2010 and having a productive rookie season, playing in 13 of the 16 regular-season games, Zombo spent most of the next two seasons battling injuries. The outside linebacker played in just 12 games in 2011 and 2012 combined. The 26 year-old Zombo only recorded 8 tackles in 2012.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();

Why would the Packers sign Aaron Rodgers brother?

It’s that time of year when every “football analyst” comes out of the wood work to give their two cents on where they expect players to fall in the draft. His main role was on special teams, where he finished with...

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Greg Jennings is no longer a member of the Green Bay Packers. Jennings won't be going far, though, staying within the NFC North by signing whatESPN's Josina Anderson says is a five-year deal for 47.5 million with 18.5 million guaranteed. The five-year deal for the 29-year-old wide receiver means that Jennings could be with the Vikings until he's 34...

Crabtree leaves Packers for Buccaneers

Tight end Tom Crabtree has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a tweet from his marketing agent. Crabtree was a restricted free agent entering the offseason, but the Packers decided not to tender him an offer and that gave him unrestricted status. The terms of Crabtree's contract with the Buccaneers are not yet known. Crabtree, 27, was part of a deep tight end...

Possible Dream Team Turns Into Nightmare

The Packers went from an offense with Greg Jennings and Steven Jackson to an offense with neither in the span of about 24 hours. Green Bay entered the offseason needing to upgrade its defense. Now, it will have to upgrade the offense, too, if it wants to remain relevant in the NFC.
