According to Rob Reischel of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Green Bay Packers could end signing a veteran quarterback if Graham Harrell “flops” during the team’s upcoming training camp this summer. Aaron Rodgers wound up missing a few games two seasons ago due to concussions, so there’s some concern that Harrell may not give them as good of a chance at competing without Rodgers as Matt Flynn did. Green Bay drafted B.J. Coleman in the seventh-round, but it’s high unlikely that he’ll be ready to step in produce should they need him. The Packers have been linked to Colt McCoy who’s likely still available.Cleveland has reportedly dropped their asking price for him since the draft, so there’s still a chance that something could be revisited if Harrell fails to impress.
