Green Bay Packers rookie offensive lineman Derek Sherrod broke his leg in two places in Sunday's 19-14 loss at Kansas City. Sherrod underwent emergency surgery Sunday after breaking the tibia and fibula in his right leg. He is expected to remain hospitalized until Thursday or Friday. The team's first-round draft pick this year, Sherrod is expected to be sidelined for "months" before he can resume football activities, the Green Bay Press-Gazette reported. Sherrod was hurt after he replaced right tackle Bryan Bulaga, who left the game with a knee injury.
