PLAYERS:
Will Matthews
ESPN Wisconsin reports that both HC coach Mike McCarthy and DC Dom Capers indicated that OLB Clay Matthews snaps will be limited in Sunday’s game against the Bears.
Matthews, who is just coming off a hamstring injury, is listed as probable for the game at Soldier Field, however the team is cautious about his playing time to not aggravate the injury:
“I think we’d be smart to watch his reps,” McCarthy said. “It’s something we’ve talked about with him personally and a number of guys coming back. This is a very important game, but there’s more left to be played after this.”
Matthews has yet to step on the field since injuring himself back in early November, expect to see him on passing play’s exclusively.
