Fox Sports Wisconsin:
The Green Bay Packers on Saturday activated linebacker Frank Zombo from the reservephysically unable to perform list.
Zombo, a 6-foot-3, 254-pound undrafted third-year pro out of Central Michigan, played in 18 games for the Packers in 2010-11. He made nine starts with Green Bay during that span, eight in 2010 when injuries piled up during the Packers' run to the Super Bowl, and one last year.
The linebacker had spent time earlier this season recovering from a deep hamstring injury, though he has practiced the past few weeks. In 2011, Zombo endured an array of injuries, including a fractured shoulder blade, a hamstring ailment and knee injuries. When healthy in 2010, he contributed four sacks.

If Aaron Rodgers' teammates are giving him a compliment or two just to ensure he has a good game, they must be giving him a lot of praise.
CBS' 60 Minutes ran a feature on Rodgers on Sunday night and he and his teammates had some interesting things to say about his psyche. Both Greg Jennings and Clay Matthews called the star quarterback sensitive and Jennings...

Will Carroll of SI.com reports that sources have informed that Packers WR Jordy Nelson has a “99% to play Sunday, but he’s not 100%.”
Nelson has been bothered with a hamstring injury that he suffered two weeks ago, and it seemed as though he might sit out Sunday’s game against the Cardinals, considering that Green Bay will be on bye next week.
There’s no question that the...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It was less than a month ago that the Packers were 2-3 and preparing to fly into Houston to face an undefeated Texans team. I have to think the Packers players are fairly mad at themselves. For Clay Matthews...
According to Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Packers RB James Starks is expected to get “his share of touches” against the Cardinals this weekend.
Alex Green‘s dismal performance against the Jaguars was enough for head coach Mike McCarthy to express his concern publicly. On the season, Green is averaging just 2.9 yards per carry, so it makes sense that...
