Looking back at the Wildcard game two things became rather apparent: the first was that the Vikings gave up by around the second quarter which lead to the Packers giving up (or “protecting an outrageous lead”) around the 3rd and the second was that the Vikings did not know how to handle quarterback Joe Webb (Football Outsiders mentioned that it appeared if Webb’s progressions were actually more complicated than Ponders, which is probably not what you should be asking your backup quarterback who hadn’t thrown a pass all season to be doing). Either way, outside of the the Packers’ mistake that costed them the Vikings only touchdown (which I reviewed and can’t decide who’s at fault) there really wasn’t a play that really stood out to me; the Vikings were atrocious beginning to end and the Packers did nothing entirely special when there were trying (which apparently was enough to win the game in the first 30 minutes) and then proceeded to sit on the ball for the 2nd half.  So instead, I...

Video: Vikings & Packers fans assemble for the ultimate tailgate

The tailgating experience was the only positive thing that Minnesota Vikings fans walked away with after the Green Bay Packers crushed their hopes in the Wild Card round of the NFC playoffs on Saturday. This video takes a look at what that experience was like for them and the faithful that represents Lambeau Field.   The post Video: Vikings & Packers fans assemble for the...

Packers expect Cobb, Nelson to play vs. 49ers

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Randall Cobb has the flu and Jordy Nelson has an ankle injury, but the Green Bay Packers are about as healthy as a team can be at this point in the season. Even those two wide receivers will be well enough for Saturday night's divisional round playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers. "I feel pretty confident the receiver position will be healthy...

Vikings fan breaks a glass table while watching his team lose to the Packers (VIDEO)

Video of unhinged meltdown by Vikings fan likely fake, but still worth a watch (video)

No Minnesota Vikings fan was in the best of spirits last weekend as they watched their favorite NFL football team, led on offense by an inept Joe Webb, crap the bed in its wild card match-up with the rival Green Bay Packers. Still, this fella’s over-the-top, manic, coffee table-destroying meltdown is one for the ages. If it’s real. Which it is probably not. Egad. That’s some...

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers: Three Bold Predictions

In week one, the 49ers defeated Green Bay, 30-22.  To be quite honest, the Packers had no business being competitive in that game.  A blown call by replacement refs resulted in a punt return for a touchdown by Randall Cobb, and made it a one possession game.  But even Green Bay knows that it was blown out that day.Week one is long gone, though.  It's week 19.  The 49ers...

Likely Fake Vikings Fan Freak Out Video Makes You Hate People

First, let me just say how aware I am that I am falling precisely for this little turd's ultimate goal of helping him gather views on his ****** little Vikings fan freak out video here.  BUT ... With that being said, let me also admit that the only reason I'm featuring this video is because I want to eviscerate this little Vikings **** very badly. So. Let's begin...

WR Corps Should be OK for Saturday

The Packers were without three receivers on Wednesday, including Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson. That and more as the Packers continued preparations for Saturday night's divisional playoff game at San Francisco.

Packers Get WR's Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson Back At Practice

After missing practice on Wednesday, wide receivers Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson returned to the practice field Thursday as the Green Bay Packers prepare for this weekend's NFC Divisional Playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers. "We'll be good to go come Saturday," Nelson remarked on the team's website. "Guys are ready to go." Outside linebackers...

Packers News: Cobb, Nelson, Starks probable, Justin Smith ready

Jordy Nelson is probable for Saturday against the 49ers. The Green Bay Packers have been bitten by the injury bug perhaps more than any NFL team this season. But headed into their divisional round matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, the Packers are getting healthier. Running back James Starks (knee) is set to return to the field for the Packers. Starks hasn’t played since...

Friday Freakfest: Blair Walsh Brings a Friend to Hawaii

Well, it's no weekly game preview since we got kicked out of the playoffs thanks to Joe Webb's dynamic athleticism, but let's make due anyway. Here are some current Minnesota Vikings notes from the week that I'm finally getting to, and a little Friday extra!
