The Packers today dumped defensive end Michael Montgomery, a move that could allow them to promote one of their players from the physically unable to perform list.
Montgomery was inked on October 15th, this after he was a 6th round pick by the team back in 2005.
Cornerback Al Harris and safety Atari Bigby are both expected to be added to the 53-man roster off the PUP list. Harris and Bigby could be activated in time for Sunday’s game with the Cowboys.
