According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, the Packers are in a holding pattern when it comes to free agents Ryan Pickett and Johnny Jolly. It’s a holding pattern at this point with Ryan Pickett and Johnny Jolly. They will wait to see what comes of the draft and then reassess their needs. Jolly appears to be recovering nicely from his neck surgery, so that should not be an issue. Packers: Why Green Bay’s 2014 Schedule Sets Up for 12 Wins or More

While the fact that they’re opening against Seattle is overall stupid, the Packers really did get lucky with their 2014 schedule. They only have to play against two good teams on the road, so, in my opinion, they should be able to win 12 plus games as long as they stay somewhat healthy. It’s not guaranteed, but yea, it’s likely. I mean, the Pack beating the Seahawks or Saints...

Green Bay Packers: Three late-round sleepers to target

While most of the publicity from the NFL Draft is on the players who were selected in the first round, the later rounds is often when some great gems are found.  Arguably a top five all time quarterback, Tom Brady wasn’t taken until the sixth round with the 199th overall pick.  Seattle Seahawks shutdown cornerback Richard Sherman was not taken until the fifth round in 2011....

Green Bay Packers, Ted Thompson knows talent, could local kid be next in line at WR

Green Bay has always done a good job of finding wide receiver talent and GM Ted Thompson could elect to bring in local 'Diamond in the Rough', Tyler Huber. The Wisconsin-Whitewate team captain has been catching plenty of buzz of late due to his ability. Everyone wants to find the next Victor Cruz and this kid, could be it. Per speculation on if he could land in Green Bay, but ...

Can someone please stop Roger Goodell, He is trying to make the Draft 4 days now

Roger Goodell is like a brand new police officer straight out of the academy.  They believe they are superman, and can change the world overnight.  Well on Friday NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suggested that the league’s draft process might be adjusted again. Packers Free Agency: Matt Flynn to Make Over $1 Million in 2014

The details of Matt Flynn’s new one-year deal with the Packers have been released, and really, they come with no surprises.  Flynn, who went 2-2 in four starts last season, will make just $730,000 in base salary this year, including a $75k signing bonus, a $25k workout bonus, and a per game active roster bonus of up to $138,125. However, there are some incentives that exist in...

The 2014 NFL schedule has been released, and fans across America are snatching up tickets and planning Sundays. With the 21st Pick in the NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers Select...

The Green Bay Packers still made the playoffs despite missing Aaron Rodgers for eight games, an inconsistent defense, and leaning on a rookie running back all year long. However, with a full season of Aaron Rodgers and improving this defense in free agency with the signing of Julius Peppers and a solid draft, the Packers could make a run in the playoffs this year.1. SafetyIt seems...

The biggest draft bust at safety in Packer history

Safety is the most literally named position in football, aside from maybe kicker and punter. A safety is meant to be that impenetrable last wall of defense should the other nine or ten players on the defense fail to do their jobs. So, when a safety flops it is monumentally ironic, but unfortunately it happens. In 1999 the Packers used their first three draft choices on defensive...

Murray Could Be A Steal

With Aaron Rodgers in the prime of his career, there’s no need to use a high pick in next month’s draft on a quarterback. But with Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien as the only backups on the current roster, it probably wouldn’t be wise to wait too long to pluck a signal caller. The Packers […]

NFL: Is the League Right to Challenge World Series with Packers-Saints in Week 8?

In case you don’t already know, the Packers Week 8 Sunday night game in New Orleans has come into some controversy, as it happens to be scheduled on the same night as the fourth game on the 2014 World Series. Before 2010, the NFL refrained from this kind of stuff, respecting that people shouldn’t have to pick between Baseball’s biggest moment and a can’t-miss Football primetime...
