GREEN BAY, Wis. The Green Bay Packers made a move to address their dangerously thin offensive line Tuesday afternoon, signing a player who used to play for the team that ruined their perfect season. Herb Taylor, a 6-foot-4, 305-pound third-year tackle, appeared in 18 games and started one for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2007-08. He takes the roster spot of Packers first-round pick Derek Sherrod, who suffered a broken leg during Sundays loss to the Chiefs and was placed on injured reserve. Taylor was a sixth-round pick (196th overall) in the 2007 draft and started 48 games at Texas Christian University, where he was twice named to the Mountain West Conference first team. Taylor was on Denver's active roster at the end of the 2009 season and went to training camp with the Giants in 2010 and the Broncos in 2011. He will wear No. 72 to for the Packers, who already were dealing with the loss of tackles Chad Clifton (hamstring, back) and Bryan Bulaga (knee) when Sherrod was injured. C...
