GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Jerron McMillian is the first Packers' rookie to officially sign with the team.
McMillian's agent, Abu Toppin, discussed the full terms of the contract. McMillian received a 300,584 signing bonus and has a first-year salary base of 390,000.
The four-year deal is worth a total of 2.4 million over four years. McMillian's second-year base salary is 480,000, with a third year at 570,000 and a fourth year of 660,000.
If McMillian plays more than 35 percent of the defensive snaps for Green Bay, his fourth-year salary could bump up significantly, approximately twice as much, to 1.2 million.
McMillian, a safety out of Maine, was a fourth-round pick of the Packers at No. 133 overall. It was one of Green Bay's two fourth-round compensatory picks.
