TEAMS: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers
After the near week-long bliss fest following the Packers' trouncing of the ViQueens -- it certainly was nowhere near as close as I and some others thought it would be (who knew the 'Queens would go into full fetal position in this game?) -- we now have the former division rivals from Tampa Bay as the next victim, er, team coming to Lambeau Field. The Packers are favored by 14 points over the 4-5 Buccaneers. The over-under is set at 48.5 points, the largest of this weekend's games.Just a hunch, but my guess is the oddsmakers are figuring the Packers to put up the majority of those points. That's because Tampa is giving up 401.2 yards (31st in the NFL), 263.0 passing yards (28th) and 138.2 rushing yards (29th) through their first nine games. But, well, you know...until last week's game against the 'Queens, the Pack's defense wasn't exactly much to brag about either. And that should really be the thing to watch in this game: the Packers' "D"...

Aaron Rodgers’ bad day? Many NFL QBs could only wish for that kind of production
Aaron Rodgers had a bad day against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday, but his "bad" day is as good, if not better than most turned in by his league counterparts.“I’m just frustrated. I didn’t throw the ball very well. I’m not trying to be ridiculously humble right now, I’m just frustrated. The ball wasn’t coming out the way I wanted it to today.”That’...
Comparing Aaron Rodgers to the greats
Aaron Rodgers is playing quarterback this season at a ridiculously high level. We’ve heard the case made that no quarterback has ever played better. I can’t even disagree, although I remember the exact same things being said about Peyton Manning in ’04 and Tom Brady in ’07. Rodgers’ athletic skill set to throw on the…
Rodgers' late TD pass keeps Packers unbeaten
Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes and the Green Bay Packers survived a scare from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 35-26 victory Sunday.
Raji scores TD, Packers hold on to beat Bucs 35-26
Aaron Rodgers said the Green Bay Packers often run the play at the end of a Friday practice: Hand the ball to 337-pound defensive lineman B.J. Raji on the goal line and get out of the way.
Green Bay finally unleashed its big ballcarrier against Tampa Bay on Sunday, and Raji barged into the end zone for a 1-yard touchdown on the Packers' first drive of the day. The Packers went...
Recap: Green Bay vs. Tampa Bay
Aaron Rodgers passed for 299 yards and three touchdowns on 23-of-34 efficiency as Green Bay outlasted Tampa Bay, 35-26, at Lambeau Field to remain perfect on the season.
Packers improve to 10-0, hold off Bucs (AP)
Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes and the Green Bay Packers survived a scare from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 35-26 victory Sunday. With the Packers leading by two points and trying to fend off a rally by Tampa Bay in the fourth quarter, Rodgers found Jordy Nelson for a clinching 40-yard touchdown with 2:55 left in the game -- Nelson's second TD catch of the afternoon.
The People Of Wisconsin Are Crazy!
There may not be a better fanbase in the NFL than the Green Bay Packers. These people live and die with their Packers, but their LOVES and OBSESSION for their quarterbacks may have finally taken them from diehards to idiots. In a survey conducted last month by Public Polling Policy (PPP), Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was viewed favorably by 89% of voters. That is...
Packers win ugly over Buccaneers, 35-26
Oh, the woes of a 10-0 team. The only 10-0 team, by the way, in the NFL this season. And only the third 10-0 team in the proud history of the Green Bay Packers. Yes, the Packers won today even playing at a mediocre level...at least by the standards they have set this season. They beat a Buccaneers team that wasn't phased by playing the top team in the league, 35-26.On a day when...

Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions Odds
10-0TEAM RECORD7-3
The Green Bay Packers look for an 11-0 start against a team they have dominated the past decade.
The Pack is 17-3 SU in their past 20 meetings with the Lions, but lost here 7-3 a year ago in the game where Aaron Rodgers was lost to a concussion. In four prior trips to Detroit...
Perfect Packers keep it going, but Bucs don’t make it easy
It’s a perfect ten for the Green Bay Packers. Although today’s victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wasn’t always pretty, the Packers moved to 10-0 with a 35-26 win, and they continue to look like the best team in the league by a wide margin. How good is Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers right now? So…

Chargers’ offense is closest to Packers’ attack that Bears will see
The Bears took a huge step toward the playoffs with their victory last week against the Lions. This week, they get a chance to take a step toward a level many people didn’t think they’d have a shot at reaching: the Packers. Philip Rivers and the Chargers aren’t Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. But they’re close enough to simulate the best offense in football. In fact, if...
