Week 12: Green Bay Packers vs. New York Giants
This Week’s Pick
Green Bay Packers
The Packers are on a five game winning streak but are wounded. The Giants are not playing their best ball right now. I think the game is close for an entire 60 minutes and call me crazy, but I think Mason Crosby (yes THAT Crosby) wins the game on a last second field goal. A Thanksgiving weekend miracle.

Green Bay Packers
My gut is telling me to pick the Giants in this game. They specialize in struggling and then turning it around. Tom Coughlin with more time to prepare (bye week) is always dangerous. But I think the Packers will do just enough to win this game, hopefully without needing Mason Crosby’s help.
New York Giants
The Packers have scrapped their way to a 7-3 record and the lead in the NFC North. It’s going to take more than scrappiness to beat the G...

There is a short list of athletes in professional sports that are deemed to be just a little different than the rest. Hockey and soccer goalies, closers in baseball and kickers in the NFL. All these players that play these positions are regarded differently than their peers in that their entire skill set seems to [...]

Now that we have had time to judge, who was better, the Replacement Officials or the Regular Officials? You see the image to the left, that was the lasting image in the NFL left by the replacement officials. The extremely bad call that should have been an interception by the Green Bay Packers, was ruled a touchdown by Golden Tate and gave the Seattle Seahawks a victory. Fans and...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- If the Packers are going to win their sixth consecutive game with a victory over the New York Giants on Sunday, quarterback Aaron Rodgers will need to perform better than he did last year in the playoffs when Eli Manning & Co. ended Green Bay's season prematurely.
In his weekly meeting with the media, Rodgers talked about a growing rivalry with the Giants...
MELTS DOWN LIKE VELVEETA
Packers tight end Jermichael Finley has made public his concerns about how Aaron Rodgers doesn't appear to be looking his way, saying "me and 12 just ain’t been on."
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It may not seem like it from outside the Packers' locker room, but quarterback Aaron Rodgers insists that his relationship with outspoken tight end Jermichael Finley is actually quite strong at the moment.
Finley has commented numerous times over the past year that there can sometimes be a lack of chemistry between he and the NFL's reigning Most Valuable...
The more he talks, the more Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley makes himself sound like the scorned ex-girlfriend of Aaron Rodgers. There was a point in time a few years back where it looked like Finley could emerge as Rodgers’ favorite target and one of the best tight ends in the league. Now, any day with multiple catches is an above average one for the former Texas...
As a grown adult male who has never been able to grow sufficient facial hair, I don’t typically handle news involving mustaches and beards very well, but if that news creates the opportunity to rank celebrity mustaches and/or beards then I can live with it. In this case, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers appeared on Jim Rome’s new show on Showtime Wednesday night and Romey asked...
What did the Packers accomplish against Detroit on Sunday that they've done only rarely under coach Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers? "There’s definitely something we can draw from," McCarthy said, looking ahead to a stretch run that could culminate with a berth in the rugged NFC playoffs.
The city of Toronto is getting ready for the Grey Cup and everyone is excited. Even mayor Rob Ford wanted to get in on the fun.
He wanted to show the whole world he could play quarterback like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.
Unfortunately he ended up looking like Michael Vick.
(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By DAVE CAMPBELL AP Pro Football Writer The Minnesota Vikings must play perhaps their best yet this season to emerge from the last six games with a playoff spot, let alone a winning record.
The defensive line will have a big part in this.
They visit Chicago on Sunday and Green Bay the week after, facing the NFC North co-leaders...

How does the average Green Bay Packers fan spend his/her Thanksgiving Day? My guess would be rooting against the Detroit Lions, eating more than one should in the span of an afternoon, and filling up on beer (Leinenkugel, anyone?). While these are all wonderful ways to spend time with friends and family, Thanksgiving is also the holiday where we examine our lives to focus on the...
