Green Bay Packers
New York Giants
After the disappointing dismantling of the Green Bay Packers by the NY Giants last Sunday night, we don't quite know what to expect today. Will the ViQueens' defensive front, led by Jared Allen, wreak havoc on the Pack's sieve-like offensive line and take away any chance for Aaron Rodgers to connect with his receivers before getting mauled in a collapsing pocket? Or, will the guys on the line look for some redemption? Will their collective pride be such that they want to emulate the Wisconsin Badgers' offensive line who thoroughly dominated the Nebraska Cornhuskers last night to win their third straight Big 10 title and trip to the Rose Bowl? (Can you tell I'm a proud Badgers fan?)Of course, last Sunday's problems weren't only with the offensive line; there were problems aplenty on the defense, as well. But as we saw last season, if the Packers' offense does what it's capable of doing, even a Swiss cheese style defense can be covered up.So, the ke...

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers couldn’t be more excited that the Seattle Seahawks rallied back to beat the Chicago Bears 23-17 on Sunday.
Considering it was the same Seahawks team that beat the Packers on Monday Night Football earlier this season on a phantom touchdown catch during the replacement referee era.
With the Bears loss and the Packers win over the Vikings...
I drafted me first too Juan…
In most fantasy leagues, Aaron Rodgers was the first QB taken and quite possibly the #1 overall pick. He started the year slowly as teams adjusted to the Packers pass attack, but then in a 6 week span he scored 24 or more points 5 out of 6 games.
Rodgers is back in a funk with 3 straight games of 15 fantasy points or less. Of course if you are riding...
The Packers continue to try to find ways to protect Aaron Rodgers, with mixed results. Enter Jared Allen and the Vikings.
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers scrambles to evade the pressure from Vikings DE Jared Allen
It was a solid rebound from their blowout loss to the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers are back in first place in the NFC North.
Thanks to their 23-14 win over the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks’ 23-17 overtime win against the Chicago Bears, the Packers find themselves right...
Aaron Rodgers was aided by a good running game while the Vikings had nothing but Adrian Peterson. With the Packers pitching a second-half shutout, they beat the Vikings 23-14 and stayed right in the heart of the playoff race.
Not only was rookie free agent Don Barclay not a liability when he replaced T.J. Lang at right tackle, his rock-solid performance helped get Green Bay’s running game jump-started and kept quarterback Aaron Rodgers mostly upright.
Week 13: Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings
This Week’s Pick
Green Bay Packers
The Packers made some very alarming comments this week when they mentioned that they thought their hearts weren’t into the game. Wait, what? You’re professionals and your heart was not into a game against the team...
The Packers are hoping to see this familiar scene on Sunday versus the Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings visit Lambeau Field and face the Green Bay Packers for just the first time this season. The two teams will square off again in week 17 in Minnesota. Both teams are coming off of a big loss and are fighting to keep postseason hopes alive.
The Packers were handed their worst loss...
The Green Bay Packers are back atop the NFC North, and they have a very unlikely source to thank.
Minutes after the Packers wrapped up their 23-14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon, Seattle beat Chicago in overtime to drop the Bears back into a tie with Green Bay for the division lead.
Yes, that would be the same Seattle team that stole a win from the Packers...
Minnesota Vikings (6-5) at Green Bay Packers (7-4)
Aaron Rodgers is normally deadly off a loss, going 14-9 ATS in that situation in his career, including 10-4 ATS since 2009, which excludes 2008, his first year as a starter. However, as favorites of a touchdown or more, he’s just 4-3 ATS in that situation in his career. Besides, I still think the Packers are an overrated bunch...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Aaron Rodgers got plenty of help. Adrian Peterson got none at all. The Green Bay Packers won a key NFC showdown against the division rival Minnesota Vikings 23-14 on Sunday at Lambeau Field. The Packers (8-4) stayed comfortably in the playoff chase while the Vikings (6-6) are in deep trouble after losing for the fourth time in five games. Rodgers completed...
Matt Ryan was on fire for most of the season. He had 17 points or more in 7 out of 8 games this season, including games of 31, 21, 24, 23, and 26. He has been a must start fantasy option until the last 3 weeks, where his production has fallen off big time.
In the last 3 games, he has thrown only 2 TDs vs 6 INTs. Ryan is only averaging 9 points per contest which included tilts vs...
