The Green Bay Packers have come out and made it clear that they want to reconcile with former quarterback Brett Favre. “We want to have (Favre) back in the family,” Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy told Favre certainly showed a willingness to reconcile when he presented an award with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. “I thought he and Aaron jointly presenting the Comeback Player of the Year Award was a great first step,” Murphy said. “We’re hopeful to have (Favre) back in the fold and get him back involved in the organization soon.” I’m sure hearing this will help Brett’s heart soften towards the Packers.  Sooner or later he’ll make the trip back to Green Bay to retire his jersey.   Need NFL Tickets? Mark Murphy’s Actions Need to Speak Louder Than Words Regarding Brett Favre

To borrow one of Mike McCarthy’s quotes from the Summer of 08, Packers President is in a tough spot. The divorce between Brett Favre, arguably the most popular player in team history, and the Packers divided fans then, and continues to do so. The decision...

When that player was a third-round pick only two years ago, the chances of him being a starter would typically increase. For Alex Green, however, the Green Bay Packers' top running back from last...
