Fox Sports Wisconsin:
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers second-year tight end D.J. Williams is really starting to get comfortable during the early stages of training camp in Green Bay.
On the field, Williams has consistently been a standout performer on offense throughout the first four practices. Nearly every pass thrown his way has stuck to his hands. It took less than one hour into training camp for Williams to make two fantastic catches, including one from third-string quarterback B.J. Coleman that was significantly behind him. The next day, Williams was at it again, making a leaping grab with outstretched arms. So it was a hardly a surprise once the pads went on beginning with the third practice that Williams continued to shine.
"He's had a couple of nice catches, big plays in practice," coach Mike McCarthy said. "He's able to separate and make the catch. He's playing with much more balance and strength. That's one of the things you see with a younger player. They're n...

Packers tight end D.J. Williams said he has come back looking stronger this year in training camp because he wrestled cows during the offseason.
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It wasn't quite a Lambeau Leap, but Packers wide receiver Tori Gurley did the next best thing during Day 4 of Packers training camp.
Practicing across the street from Lambeau Field at the team's outdoor facility, Ray Nitschke Field, Gurley got up-close and personal with a few of the approximately 2,000 fans in attendance.
Gurley, Green Bay's tallest...
GREEN BAY, Wis. It was almost too easy. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' high-scoring, pass-first, multi-threat offense were nearly unstoppable throughout most of last season. Rodgers seemed capable of executing Green Bay's scheme while methodically spreading his passes around to whichever receiver he wanted. At times, the ease with which he did so made it appear as if Rodgers...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- When the alarm begins to sound inside Donald Driver's college dorm room, his home during training camp, the 37-year-old Packers wide receiver still has the motivation after 13 NFL seasons not hit the snooze button. That might not seem like much, but to Driver, it means everything.
For Driver, it's a sign that he still has the energy to show up for a drill...
Green Bay Packers tight end D.J. Williams may have the most unusual offseason work out routine of any football player ever. Believe it or not, he says that he wrestles cows to stay in shape during the offseason.
“I wrestle cows every day,” Williams said. “Back home in Arkansas, we don’t have anything else to do.”
Williams said that having roommates that were from the...
Green Bay Packers linebacker Erik Walden was suspended for one game by the NFL on Tuesday as a result of an arrest last November. Walden was charged following a dispute with his girlfriend, and he pleaded no contest to misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges. He avoided jail time, but the league decided to punish him for what it considered a violation of the Personal Conduct Policy...
Defensive end Anthony Hargrove, already facing an eight-game suspension for his role in the Saints bounty pool, has been released by the Green Bay Packers.
The NFL has said the Saints' bounty program paid defensive players improper cash bonuses for hits that injured opponents from 2009 through 2011.
The 29-year-old Hargrove has denied NFL accusations that he lied to league...
While it’s probably unfair to compare Mike Daniels to Mike Neal, that won’t stop some fans from making the analogy after the rookie from Iowa left Tuesday’s practice with a groin and/or knee injury. Neal has played in only 10 games since joining the Packers in 2010. Daniels, whose durability was questioned by scouts prior [...]

First let’s get to the chicks! This may have been a certain media star Jen Lada in front of us… best view of the day folks.
