Green Bay Packers star wide receiver Greg Jennings has been ruled out of the regular-season finale against the NFC North rival Detroit Lions.
Jennings suffered a sprained knee in a game against the Oakland Raiders on Dec. 11. In Green Bay's first contest without him, it lost to the Kansas City Chiefs to end its bid for a perfect season.
The Packers are 14-1 and have clinched home field throughout the NFC playoffs, thus rendering Sunday's game meaningless for the club.
In his sixth year with Green Bay, Jennings has been the big-play receiver for the reigning Super Bowl champions, hauling in 67 receptions for 949 yards and nine touchdowns.
