GREEN BAY, Wis. Just as the Packers are getting one wide receiver back on the field, they might be losing another.
Coach Mike McCarthy announced Friday that Jordy Nelson, who's missed the past three games with a hamstring injury, is probable for Green Bay's regular-season finale Sunday in Minnesota against the Vikings.
"I feel good about Jordy Nelson," McCarthy said. "He's gone through a full week of work. He felt good this morning going through the medical evaluation. So I have no reason not to believe that he'll be ready to go Sunday."
However, the Packers' No. 1 receiver this season, Randall Cobb, is questionable after suffering a right ankle and knee injury last weekend.
"We had a menu set for him as far as going through a workout; He was able to accomplish that," McCarthy said of Cobb. "He did some returns. He took some practice reps. So we'll see how he is in the morning. He looked pretty good."
