A trial has been delayed for Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam ''Pacman'' Jones, who was charged with assault after police said he hit a woman at a nightclub. The trial had been scheduled to start Monday, but a judge delayed it until Oct. 7 at a defense attorney's request. Jones has pleaded not guilty and was released on his own recognizance after his June arrest. He and his attorney have declined to comment. He's accused of hitting a 34-year-old woman at a downtown Cincinnati nightclub. A police report listed the injury as apparently minor. Jones could be punished by the NFL under its conduct policy. He has been in trouble previously. He pleaded guilty last year to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct in another case.

Cincinnati Bengals’ cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones has had his court date continued on Monday until Oct. 7. Jones’ court appearance is from the June 5 altercation outside a bar in downtown Cincinnati. Police said the football player punched a woman after having a brief exchange and assault charges were issued. Jones turned himself in the next day. The trial will take place...

Bengals QB Andy Dalton stars in Anchorman/Sex Panther knockoff commercial (video)

In a slightly amusing — yet derivative — new commercial for Pepsi’s “Are You Fan Enough” campaign, Cincinnati Bengals ginger-haired quarterback Andy Dalton visits the home of some Bengals fans to showcase his new fragrance (not a perfume, says Dalton, so it’s a unisex scent). The new fragrance, simply named “Andy Dalton Fragrance,” contains real […]The post Bengals...

Bengals Andy Dalton Unveils New Fragrance in Pepsi Commercial

Bengals QB Andy Dalton isn’t really known for his humorous side. You may get a small joke here or there but nothing that would bring you to tears funny. At least we haven’t seen anything on HBO’s Hard Knocks just yet. However, Bleacher Report is reporting a different side to the QB in his new Pepsi commercial. Dalton is unveiling his new fragrance for men and women and it goes...

Man Crush: Giovani Bernard

Giovani Bernard is one of my favorite rookies to target this season.  He has all the skills you look for in a RB for fantasy and only has to beat out a plodding veteran in BJGE.  The Bengals offense is bordering on becoming elite with AJ Green and Tyler Eifert.  Now, they have an option out of the backfield that is explosive and versatile. In last night’s preseason action, he...

Hawkins expected to miss rest of Bengals preseason

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Bengals receiver Andrew Hawkins is expected to miss the last two preseason games because of a sprained ankle, leaving him a candidate to wind up on injured reserve. Hawkins sprained his left ankle while trying to make a catch on Aug. 1, and it was placed in a cast. Coach Marvin Lewis says Tuesday that Hawkins will get the cast off this week so the ankle can be...

Heels in the Pro’s: Gio Bernard is doing it the right way

Giovani Bernard (Heels in the Pro’s) Maybe it’s because he was not picked in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft. Probably because he is a Tar Heel, actually no probably about it. But when I read stories like the one about Giovani Bernard and his beginning in Pro Football it makes you kind of smile, especially just being overloaded by the ‘roids epidemic in the MLB and...

Bengals offense taking shape

CINCINNATI Plans are one thing. Seeing those plans put into play and working is something else. The Bengals can envision yards and points aplenty this season from a variety of outlets. They got a glimpse of those outlets Saturday night in a 27-19 win in their home preseason opener against Tennessee. Even with three of his main offensive players watching from the sidelines, offensive...

Are you fan enough? This is the precise question posed by Pepsi in its new advertisement starring Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton. In the one and a half minute spot, Dalton stops by the home of a pair of affluent Bengals fans and proceeds to offer them a new unisex fragrance, which is designed for true fans. The gullible yet loyal fans take the bait and give themselves a...

5 things learned from Bengals preseason game 2

CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Bengals' starters scored had a solid first half during a 27-19 preseason victory over the Tennessee Titans on Saturday night. Everybody got involved for the Bengals (2-0). "It was a successful Week 2," coach Marvin Lewis said. "We had a lot of positives. All in all, we got some things done that we look forward to getting done." By contrasts...

The Bengals may be the next dominant team in the NFL

Over the past decade, we’ve seen dominate teams rise from young rosters and star quarterbacks. As the NFL has become a more pass-centric league, there’s no reason that should stop. Right now, the dominate teams in the NFL seem to be the usual suspects. The Patriots, Broncos, Saints, Packers and the Steelers are all led by veteran stars that carry their teams. Other teams like...
