Colts coach Jim Caldwell has picked quarterback Curtis Painter to start Sunday's game against Carolina. Painter replaced the injured Kerry Collins against Pittsburgh in September and has started every game since then. But after posting quarterback ratings of 51 or less in each of his past four games, fans were clamoring for another change. At 0-11, the Colts are the only winless team in the NFL. Dan Orlovsky is the only other healthy quarterback on Indy's roster, and coming off a bye week, many fans thought it was a logical time to make a change. Four-time league MVP Peyton Manning hasn't practiced since having neck surgery Sept. 8, his third neck surgery in 19 months. Manning had not missed a start in the previous 13 years.
