The Carolina Panthers cut veteran safety Sean Considine today, according to his agent, Rick Smith. Considine is a former Philadelphia Eagles fourth-round draft pick from Iowa. Considine was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars two years ago after starting 17 games for Philadelphia in four seasons. In five starts last season for the Jaguars, he had 52 tackles, one sack, one interception and one forced fumble. For his career, Considine has 241 tackles, 2 1/2 sacks and four interceptions.
