The Carolina Panthers enter tonight’s contest against the
Philadelphia Eagles as a fairly healthy team, as only defensive lineman Antwan
Applewhite (hamstring) has been ruled out, while wide receiver Steve Smith
(finger) and linebacker Jordan Senn (ankle) are among those listed as probable
to play.
Applewhite was unable to practice all week and will be
sidelined tonight due to his hamstring injury. He is the only player on the Panthers’
injury report listed as less than probable to play.
Senn didn’t practice Thursday or Friday, but he’s probable
to play after limited participation in Saturday’s practice. Smith wasn’t able
to practice Thursday, but he was a full participant Friday and Saturday.
Beyond Smith and Senn, safety Colin Jones (head), defensive
lineman Greg Hardy (illness), offensive lineman Geoff Hangartner (knee) and
linebacker James Anderson (back) are all probable to play.
