NFL Injury Report:
Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera is “certainly concerned”
about the status of two starters on defense; linebacker Jon Beason and
cornerback Chris Gamble, reports Joseph Person charlotteobserver.com.
Pro Bowl linebacker Jon Beason and cornerback Chris
Gamble missed practice Thursday, and coach Ron Rivera said he
is “most certainly concerned” about their status.
Beason has been hampered by a knee injury, while Gamble
aggravated his shoulder during practice Wednesday. Both were unable to play
during the team’s Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Panthers hoped to have both players back and available following
their bye week, but Rivera now isn’t dismissing the possibility that Beason and
Gamble end up on injured reserve.

The Carolina Panthers have ruled out cornerback Chris Gamble for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys.Linebacker Jon Beason is “very doubtful,” according to Panthers head coach Ron Rivera.
A bit late on this one, but it’s certainly worthy of mention at this late date. Last Saturday, Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams was out shopping when some footie pajamas captured his fancy, a photo of which he uploaded to his Facebook account. He then inquired of his Facebook pals which set of pajamas [...]
The Carolina Panthers, at 1-4, must beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday if they want to remain relevant this season. Unfortunately, they will have to do it without starting cornerback Chris Gamble, and, most likely, starting linebacker Jon Beason. Gamble, who is listed as out, is battling a shoulder injury that could potentially sideline him for the rest of this season, according to...
Panthers coach Ron Rivera says the team has placed nine-year veteran cornerback Chris Gamble on injured reserve with a torn right labrum in his right shoulder.
Gamble, the team's all-time leader in interceptions, sat out the last two games with the injury.
Rivera says Gamble will need surgery.
The Panthers are also waiting to make a decision on whether to place middle linebacker...
Self evaluation and looking in the mirror allows all of us as people to find some clarity in our lives. As if the Carolina Panthers defense needed any more bad news, CB Chris Gamble has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Gamble is scheduled for an MRI to determine if he has a torn labrum, and if he does, he will likely wind up on the injured reserve list which would end his season.
Gamble originally injured his shoulder against the Atlanta Falcons in September...
(via espn.com)Panthers WR Steve Smith has a reputation for having a bit of a temper. His fierce competitive nature has made him one of the best receivers in the NFL, but it’s also led to a history of fights — including several with his own teammates, with Smith sending members of his own team to the hospital on three separate occasions. So ESPN’s E:60 decided to do a profile...

The Panthers offensive line has major concerns this week, not the least of which is trying to keep Dallas outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware away from quarterback Cam Newton.

No matter what the odds are, Dallas for some reason can never finish a game to save their lives. Eventually they have to come through or soon there will be major changes with their coaching staff and perhaps the starting quarterback as well.
There have already been rumors about the Cowboys...
