(By Darin Gantt, dgantt@heraldonline.com) The Carolina Panthers released defensive tackle Louis Leonard on Tuesday, ending a promising but injury-marred run here.The Panthers traded for Leonard last fall, sending a sixth-round pick to Cleveland. He had 11 tackles and a sack in two games last season before suffering a broken leg on the last defensive snap of a Week 2 game at Atlanta.
