A day after practicing indoors, the Panthers were back outside Thursday – but were still missing half of their secondary. Strong safety Charles Godfrey (shoulder) and cornerback Captain Munnerlyn (hamstring) have yet to practice this week, casting doubt on their availability for Saturday's game against Tampa Bay. Godfrey told trainers his shoulder was feeling better, while Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Munnerlyn was “still looking like he's hobbled.” Rivera said he would make a decision on the players' status Friday. “We'll see how they are,” Rivera said. “(Friday) will be the big day, I guess.” Darius Butler, who missed last week's Houston game with post-concussion symptoms, would start at corner. Jordan Pugh would take Godfrey's spot. “It's next guy up,” Rivera said. “Jordan's the next guy in the rotation. So he's working in it.” Defensive end Greg Hardy was the only other player to miss practice. Hardy was sick. DE Charles Johnson (back) was l...
