It's been over eight months since the Carolina Panthers hired Ben McAdoo as their new offensive coordinator. Four games into the 2022 season, not only are the Panthers struggling at 1-3, but fans and analysts alike are beginning to get frustrated with new starting quarterback Baker Mayfield.
On the sidelines, head coach Matt Rhule may be on the hottest hot seat in the league right now, but McAdoo is taking his share of the blame for the offensive woes as well. He discussed the struggles with members of the media on Thursday afternoon.
McAdoo: "I was brought in here to make an impact, but it hasn't happened yet."

Despite featuring one of, if not the best running back in the game in Christian McCaffrey and one of the most consistently solid wide receivers with D.J. Moore, Carolina enters Week 5 dead last in the NFL in total yards (1,049) and yards per game (262.3).
The Panthers will take on a stout defense on Sunday as they host the San Francisco 49ers at 4:05 p.m. ET.
