After its offensive line allowed a season-high seven sacks Sunday against the Broncos, the Panthers are expected to sign free-agent guard Jeremy Bridges, league sources said Tuesday.
Bridges, a former Panther for three years, was most recently with the Arizona Cardinals. He was placed on the injured reserve on Sept. 2 with a torn left thumb ligament. He reached an injury settlement with the Cardinals on Nov. 5.
