Panthers WR Dwayne Jarrett arrested for DUI–again

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett was arrested and charged with DUI early Tuesday morning, according to the Associated Press. It was the second time in less than three years the wideout has been charged with DUI—which means his football career could be in jeopardy. The report indicates Jarrett was pulled over prior to 2 a.m. and refused to take a breathalyzer to determine his B.A.C. He was released on $2,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon. Jarrett was selected by the Panthers in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft (45th overall) after a phenomenal career at USC in which he set the Pac 10 record for touchdowns with 41. Unfortunately, he has failed to live up to his hype in the NFL, as Jarrett has recorded just 35 receptions for 428 yards and one touchdown during his four-year career in Carolina.
