Parking Lot Attendant Triggers Amendment to Jersey Rules

Over the years, JoeSportsFan has proactively established the unofficial Jersey Wearing Rules for sporting events and also took the initiative to nominate ourselves as judge and jury determining if a spectator has in fact violated said rules (at least in our own minds).  But that doesn’t mean that a case won’t occasionally come up that isn’t exactly open and shut. When inside of a stadium watching a game, we’ve always claimed it’s a bit unusual to wear the jersey of a third party team who isn’t playing in the game you paid to see.  It’s even more unusual to wear the jersey of a third party team that doesn’t play the same sport.  And it’s just downright bizarre to wear the jersey of a third party team that isn’t playing in the game, doesn’t play the same sport and doesn’t represent either city involved.  It’s like strolling into last night’s Phillies-Cards game sporting an Ottawa Senators sweater.  No ...
