Pashos agrees to 1-year deal with 49ers Tony Pashos, who started 47 games at right tackle the past three seasons, has agreed to a one-year contract with the 49ers. He is in the Bay Area taking a physical and will sign later today, said a source close to Pashos. The 49ers must make room on the 53-man roster for Pashos, whom the Jaguars released this weekend. The 49ers figure to waive a player with practice-squad eligibility, as they have one open spot on the practice squad. Pashos (6-6, 326) is a seventh-year player who broke into the league with the Baltimore Ravens as a fifth-round draft choice from Illinois. It should not take Pashos long to acclimate to the 49ers' blocking schemes, as he played two seasons under 49ers offensive-line coach Chris Foerster while with the Ravens.
