Quarterback Pat White was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 2009. By the end of 2010, White was cut by the team and many assumed his career was over at that point. Fast forward to 2013 and you’ll find the Washington Redskins giving White a shot and he’s thankful for it. I know that there’s still a lot to be learned, a lot for me to accomplish, but I’m willing to put in the time and the work to make it happen,” White said. “I’m just very thankful and blessed to have this opportunity.” After being cut, White spent some time with a minor baseball team as well as the UFL. White will be sharing the depth chart with Robert Griffin III, Rex Grossman, and Kirk Cousins. In other words, White will not be starting for the Redskins however his time with the team can prove to other teams he still has it (or enough of “it” to be a suitable backup). Need NFL Tickets?
